Making waves at the second beach clean

Published on July 22, 2024 by Climbing Trees

We have partnered up with Surfers Against Sewage for our second beach clean up. Last year we headed to our local beach in Mersea and whilst the beach looked really clean at first glance, we were amazed to see the amount of rubbish we collected. This experience highlighted what impact a small group of people can achieve in preserving our natural environment.

We at Climbing Trees are committed to making a positive impact, whether it is the work we do for our clients or our efforts with our local community and environment. Our dedication to sustainability is why we offer the team charity days where they choose to give their time to causes close to their hearts, this can be individually or as a team. Our charity days not only give us a chance to give back but it’s also a great way to build a sense of team and pride.

Last year we opened our Beach Clean up so others could join us. We have a diverse group of volunteers which included local students working on their Duke of Edinburgh Award and local freelancers which make an interesting networking opportunity. The collective enthusiasm and effort from the team and volunteers was truly inspiring.

This year we have decided to select another local beach (we are very lucky in North Essex to be surrounded by so many) Walton-on-the-Naze and look forward to welcoming all who would like to join Team Trees on our second Beach Clean. The clean will take place on 25th July from 9.30am – 12.30pm. All are welcome to come along and help make a difference.
