This statement sets out Climbing Tree’s actions to understand all potential modern slavery risks related to business and to ensure steps are maintained to prevent slavery and human trafficking.

Opening statement

Climbing Trees Online Marketing Limited is committed to preventing acts of modern slavery and human trafficking from occurring within its business and supply chain, and imposes the same high standards on its suppliers. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and are fully committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in our supply chain by taking any necessary steps.

This Disclosure Statement (“Statement”) has been published pursuant to section 54(1) of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 (“the Act”) and is made on behalf of Climbing Trees and all subsidiary companies which are in scope for the purposes of the Act.

This Statement sets out the steps taken by Climbing Trees during the fiscal year ending August 2020.  In accordance with the Act, this Statement is published on www.climbingtrees.com/anti-slavery

Climbing Trees is committed to high standards of ethical conduct and compliance with applicable laws and we fully expect all of our suppliers to conduct themselves in a similarly compliant manner.

Climbing Trees  commitment to ethical conduct and compliance with laws includes compliance with laws prohibiting human trafficking and slavery. The UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 defines “modern slavery” as including the offences of “slavery, servitude and forced or compulsory labour” as well as “human trafficking”, all of which are directly opposed to the values and ethics of our company.
