Climbing Trees appointed to manage Greenpeace Google Ads Grant account

Published on June 3, 2021 by Climbing Trees

Following a 5 way pitch, Climbing Trees are excited to announce we are now working with global environmental protection charity, Greenpeace. Our remit is to spearhead the charity’s Google Ads Grant Account to help them raise engagement with their cause and increase support.

The win is of huge significance as the charity’s mission to ‘defend the natural world and stand for a green and peaceful future’ aligns entirely with Climbing Trees values.

“Greenpeace is a dream client for Climbing Trees.”

“Everything we do as an agency is set up to ensure we leave the world in a better place than we found it. It will therefore be a treat to work with a client of this stature whose entire purpose is to do just that. We will do everything in our power to amplify their message and drive support for the charity through the Google Ads Grant scheme.” said Alex Holliman, Climbing Trees, Managing Director of the appointment.

Work is already underway to maximise the use of the $10k a month Google Ads Grant which registered charities can take advantage of to drive targeted search traffic to their site.

Climbing Trees Account Manager, Will Bravin is a Greenpeace supporter and will be working on the account. “To work for an agency that shares my values is one thing, but to use my digital skills to support an organisation so close to my heart is just amazing. I can’t wait to see what we achieve together”. Will Bravin, Account Manager, Climbing Trees.

Greenpeace recently launched the Wasteminster campaign below, which shows what the UK’s daily waste plastic would look like if it was dumped on Downing Street.

We look forward to sharing success stories from our work with Greenpeace in due course until then. discover how we helped Orangutan SOS utilise their Google Ads Grant in our case study.
